1. The main factors affecting bearing life
1.1 Bearing selection
The bearings selected for domestic vibratory separator and other vibrating equipment are basically not well, and the bearing capacity and use conditions of general bearings have certain limitations. They can be used for general conditions, and they are not suitable for vibrating equipment. The bearing life would be shortened a lot when it use in the vibratory separator. EXCT has developed special anti-vibration bearings to solve this problem, which has significantly improved the working life of the bearings.
The vibration exciter is the heart of the vibratory separator. Improper bearing selection will directly affect the use of the screen machine, so choosing the reasonable bearing is a prerequisite for the normal operation of the vibrating screen.
1.2 Fit
When the vibratory separator is working, the bearing of the exciter not only has a high rotation speed (generally 1450r/min), but also the load on the outer ring of the bearing is a rotating load, that is, the outer ring rotates in the direction of the load, and the load has a larger impact, in order to prevent the rotation of the bearing outer ring, the bearing heat damage, the bearing outer ring should generally use interference fit, such as M7 level. However, the interference can not be too large, otherwise the internal clearance of the bearing will be reduced until it completely disappears, which lead to excessive contact stress, increase friction heating, accelerate the bearing wear, and reduce the bearing life.
The bearing is completely opposite to the load direction, and the fit should be loose. This makes the bearing more convenient during the assembly and disassembly process, but it should not be too loose. Otherwise, the inner ring of the bearing will slide on the shaft and the mating surface will be worn Therefore, it is generally preferred to use a filter fit or a clearance fit with a very small gap, such as a h6 level fit.
Since the vibratory separator is generally operated continuously and the shaft has poor heat dissipation in the bearing chamber, its temperature is higher than that of the bearing chamber. In order to prevent the shaft from heating up and causing expansion, resulting in stuck of bearing, so there should be a certain margin when process the shaft. However, the margin should not be too large, otherwise it will cause axial turbulence, it generally should be within 0.2~0.4mm.
1.3 Moderate lubrication
The purpose of bearing lubrication is: (1) reduce friction; (2) prevent or reduce abrasion; (3) remove frictional heat from lubricating oil; (4) prevent corrosion. Thus , the lubricating oil is the "blood" that guarantees the normal operation of the vibratory separator bearing. When the amount of oil is few, the bearing will not be well lubricated, which will increase the friction, the temperature rise, and eventually the bearing will burn out. But it can't be added too much, otherwise it will go along with the work, the temperature also rises, the resistance increases continuously, and the bearing will eventually swell, and the oil injection amount is generally 1/2 of the bearing chamber. Therefore, choosing the right amount of lubricant is a necessary condition to ensure the normal operation of the bearing.
