Several common plugging phenomena and treatment methods for vibratory separator

When the Vibratory Separator is in normal operation, due to various characteristics of the material, different shapes will cause plugging of various forms of mesh holes. The main reasons for the blockage are as follows:

1. A particle containing a large number of particles close to the separation point of Vibratory Separator;
2. The moisture content of the material in Vibratory Separator is high;
3. Spherical particles or materials having multiple contact points to the mesh holes of Vibratory Separator;
4, static electricity will occur;
5. The material has a fibrous material;
6, more flake particles;
7. The wire diameter of the woven screen of Vibratory Separator is too thick;
8, thicker screen such as rubber screen, the hole shape design is unreasonable, did not reach the upper and lower, and the particles stuck. 
Since the particles of the material to be sieved are mostly irregular, the blockage cause of the Vibratory Separator is also varied. In order to effectively prevent the occurrence of screen plugging, the following measures are taken:
1. When the material has finer particle size, more shale content, and smaller sieve size, moisture plays a decisive role in the clogging of the Vibratory Separator;
2. When the moisture in the material is more than 5%, if the material is dried unconditionally, the sieve surface and the sieve hole of Vibratory Separator should be selected in a targeted manner;
3. When the moisture is more than 8%, wet screening should be adopted;
4. For materials with more flake particles, Vibratory Separator is necessary to change the material crushing mode and the particle size matching of different crushing process;
5. Reasonable adjustment of the tension of the Vibratory Separator is an effective method to reduce the hole blocking of the Vibratory Separator. The reasonable tension makes the Vibratory Separator and the supporting beam produce a slight secondary vibration, thus effectively reducing the occurrence of the blocking phenomenon. Specifically, the tensioning hook is made into a constant force tensioning mechanism, that is, a spring is attached to the tension bolt.
