Copper Mine Apron Feeder Replacement Belt Feeder Technical Scheme

We used a belt feeder for one of our copper miners and recently installed an apron feeder to replace the belt feeder we used. We will be the whole process of manufacturing, installation and use of apron feeder, and measured some data on the site. The following is a brief introduction to the working conditions of the copper mine factory, the problems existing in the use of the original belt feeder and the design and use of apron feeder.

The belt machine will unload the ore into the mine bin, through the funnel and the open pneumatic gate to the feeder, the feeder will transfer the ore to the double-layer vibrating screen. The particle size of the ore material d≤350mm· pile specific gravity y=1.65t/m·, the size of the mine hopper is 1200×1200mm, the required ore feed q=555.56 1388.89t/h, because the mine storage ore amount is not large, often there will be empting phenomenon.

Two according to the above working conditions, a belt feeder of 1400×3700 blood m was installed in the original design. The feed speed is v1=0.273m/s,7z=0.367m/s,7s= 0.539m/s. There are the following problems after using the belt feeder:
1. The belt is easy to be cut by the ore, the service life is too short, the average is one month, sometimes a week to change a belt. The price of the belt is 500 yuan /m, a belt 11m, a change will be 5,000 yuan, and need to stop production for half a day to a day, light to change the belt a year to spend more than 50,000 yuan, and the loss of production. Therefore, the maintenance of the belt feeder is large and the cost is high, and the labor intensity of the maintenance workers is also very large.
2. The feeding speed is too fast, resulting in frequent emptying of the upper mine bin, smashing the upper roller and aggravating the damage of the belt, uneven feeding also affects the work efficiency of the vibrating screen, often blocking phenomenon.
After the installation and use of apron feeder, the scene reflects better. The feeding speed is v= 0.092m/s~0.26m/s, so that the original stepless speed regulation becomes stepless speed regulation. The minimum speed is changed from the original v1= 0.273m/s to v=0.092m/s, which improves the situation of frequent emptying of the mine bin and the original difficult screening of the double-layer vibrating screen. Because the inner width of the feeder plate is now b=1.27m, and the inner width of the original belt plate b:=0.8m, this also increases the working face of the vibrating screen and improves the working efficiency of the vibrating screen. The conveyor chain and chain plate need about 10,000 yuan, which can be used for 1-2 years, and can save tens of thousands of yuan per year compared with the belt, and reduce the maintenance time and workload.
Because this apron feeder belongs to the technical transformation project, the technical conditions provided by the site are relatively high, but also limited by the original process configuration, the spatial position is small, to meet the ore supply q=555.561388.89t/ convex requirements. The mine also proposed to use the base and reducer of the original drive device as far as possible (and ensure that their position is unchanged). The original belt feeder is arranged on the cement platform, and its bearing capacity is limited, which requires apron feeder to light the weight of the whole machine under the condition of meeting the strength requirements. Because the mine silo often empties, the frame and chain plate are required to have strong impact resistance, and the support point of the frame needs to fall on the beam, so that the span of the support point of the head and tail shaft is large and the rigidity is poor. These situations need to be taken into account in the design of the feeder, comprehensive consideration, reasonable selection of the performance parameters and structural types of the feeder. On the basis of the original motor → elastic pin coupling → involute cylindrical gear reducer cross slider coupling and traction sprocket, the original jdo2-62-8/6/4 motor is analyzed and compared through repeated calculation and analysis. Its power p= 8/8/11kw, speed n=730/980/1440r/min, changed to yct225-4a electromagnetic speed regulation motor, its power p=11kw, speed n=1251250r/min, according to the requirements to make its working speed n=4001130r/min. This apron feeder also makes some new attempts in the structure type.
After this replacement, our apron feeder is very competent for this job, solving the problem of pure belt feeder before.
