Motor Selection:

Transmission Drum Selection:
The surface of the transmission drum is covered with rubber or ceramic to increase the friction coefficient between the transmission drum and the conveyor belt. If the load of the transmission drum is too heavy, the design and selection of the drum is not reasonable, which is likely to cause the drum shaft breaking accident.
Reducer Selection:
As the equipment between the motor and transmission drum, the reducer device is one of the most important parts of belt conveyor. It not only to meet the requirement of the transmission power, speed ratio, torque, etc. But also has the characteristics of the lightweight, small size, high efficiency, durable and sturdy, easy maintenance and so on.
Coupling Selection:
Due to the large transmission inclination, in order to reduce the impact on the conveyor belt, reducer, motor and its components, so it is necessary to install the coupling between the motor and reducer. The two shafts connected by the machine always rotate together and cannot be separated during operation. Only by stopping the machine and disconnecting the coupling can the two shafts be separated. The use of coupling is mostly standardized, the design of the choice of rigid movable coupling.
