which is widely used in metallurgy, chemical industry, coal, food and other industry is the first choice for vertical lifting of powder or small particles of material equipment and its vertical lift high can up to 30 meters. The working principle is that the rubber belt with steel is wound on the head wheel and the tail wheel at the tail wheel at a certain interval. The head wheel is driven by an electric motor to drive the rubber belt run. At the same time, it drives the tail wheel to rotate, and lift the lower part of the material to the upper part by part of the rubber belt, so as to realizing the lifting of the material.
At present, the publicly known belt bucket elevator’s tail wheel and tail wheel regulating mechanism is mainly composed of squirrel cage tail wheel, tail wheel, tail wheel bearing, side plate, tail wheel adjusting screw, box body and so on. The tail wheel baring is mounted symmetrically on the side plate which can be moved up and down by the crew on both sides of the bottom of the bucket lifter. By manually rotating the screw to adjust the status of the tail, that is, the height of the tail wheel and the angle between the tail wheel shaft and the horizontal plane, so as to achieve appropriate degree of tension and control of the deviation of the belt. But currently, the tail wheel regulating mechanism of the publicity known belt bucket elevator can only adjust the height of the tail wheel and the angle between the tail wheel shaft and the horizontal plane and cannot lock the tail wheel state. is bound to make the tail wheel produce the violent vibration in operation, which will make the wheel tail adjust the screw rod to the direction of less stress, thus causing the tail wheel state, including the height of the tail wheel and the angle between the tail wheel shaft and the horizontal plane. It not only lead to the deviation of the rubber belt,resulting in abnormal wear of the tape, shorten the service life, but also causes serious accidents such as hanging bucket of machine shell and rupture of adhesive tape. Therefore, it is necessary to control the condition of tail wheel.
The technical scheme adopted in this paper is a self-locking device for tail wheel of belt bucket elevator, including head wheel, tail wheel, tail wheel bearing, side plate, tail wheel adjusting screw. The characteristics are provided with a hexagonal head on the tail -wheel adjusting screw, a clamp that can rotate up and down to lock the tail- wheel adjusting screw and a simple bearing. The simple bearing and the clamp welded above the hexagonal head. The clamp shape should match the hexagonal head of the tall wheel adjusting screw. When the rubber belt loosens or run away from the direction that needs to be adjusted to the condition of the tail wheel, lift the clip upward and use a wrench to clip the six-squared head of the upper part of the regulating screw of the tail wheel to make it rotate, then the condition of the tail wheel can be manually adjusted. When the adjustment is finished, the clip will automatically fall down and jam the hexagonal head, so that the tail-wheel adjusting screw cannot rotate freely, and then automatically lock the state of the tail-wheel after adjustment.
Without affecting the manual adjustment of the tail wheel state, the device of belt bucket elevator
is very convenient to lock the tail-wheel state that the regulator thinks is appropriate, so as to avoid the adverse consequences caused by the change of the tail-wheel state.
