The features of sidewall belt conveyor
Structure
The obviously difference between the corrugated sidewall belt conveyor and the ordinary belt conveyor is that the belt, the belt of sidewall belt conveyor consists of corrugated sidewall belt and diaphragm plate. The shape of base belt is same as ordinary conveyor belt, but the transverse stiffness of corrugated sidewall belt is larger than ordinary conveyor belt. Sidewall belt conveyor adopts special conveyor belt as the base belt, and its tensile material can be divided into cotton canvas, nylin canvas, polyester canvas and stell rope core. The diaphragm plat shall be aligned with the corrugated sidewall. The drive device adopts the universal belt conveyor drive.

The layout of sidewall belt conveyor
There are five basical layout of corrugated sidewall belt conveyor. Actually, because the sidewall belt conveyor use the corrugated sidewall belt, bend pulley and bend idler sets as the transition device, the sidewall belt conveyor can be bent many times in the same vertical plane to realize more layout. In order to got the better feeding and discharging condition, especially, when the conveying inclination angle more than 45°, the S shape layout should be adopted, that is, the lower horizontal loading section and the upper horizontal unloading section will be inatalled for the sidewall belt conveyor.

In this case, the capacity of concrete is 79,900m3 per month, according to the actual condition, the 40° inclination angle and S shape layout of sidewall belt conveyor be adopted, the lifting heigth is 50.5m, horizonal length is 62.58m.

The main technical parameter of sidewall belt conveyor as following: the horizonal length of conveyor is 62.58m, the conveying inclination angle is 40°, the lifting heigth is 50.5m, conveying capacity is 800t/h, belt speed is 2m/s, the width of base belt is 1200mm, the height of corrugated sidewall is 300mm, the distance of diaphragm plate is 336mm, the power of motor is 220kw.
The composition and features of sidewall belt conveyor
Sidewall belt conveyor mainly consists of driving device, gearing device, tension device, cleaning device, electirc protective device. It adopts the single motor and single drive pulley to driving the whole machine, the tail adopts the automatic tensioning heavy hammer tensioning device, which can ensure the normal operation of the conveyor.
1)Using the sidewall belt conveyor conveys the gravel aggregate, the transmission length can reducr 180m, save investment, good economic benefits, simplifies the construction layout, reduces the turnover of aggregate, reduces the secondary crushing of aggregate. It is helpful to prevent the temperature of the aggregate rebound and control of the material temperature.
2) The conveying intensity of corrugated sidewall belt conveyor is high, which can fully supply the aggregate during the construction with high strength. Field measurement shows that the conveying strength of the sidewall belt conveyor can reach 700m3 /h.
3) Concrete mixing evenly, fine and coarse aggregate distribution evenly, no aggregate separation, but time to crush the concrete should be controlled within 12s, if it more than 12s, some aggregate will be separated. When conveying normal concrete, the conveyor belt cannot be cleaned completely due to the corrugated sidewall belt conveyor with baffle and sidewall, and the conveyor belt is partially bonded with concrete, so it is not suitable to convey normal concrete with large slump. According to the actual measurement, its conveying capacity is: 820t/h of rolled concrete and 800t/h of normal concrete. In general, it is feasible to transport concrete by using wavy retaining conveyor belt, and sweeper should be improved when conveying normal concrete.
