The Anti-Stuck Bucket System for the Z Type Bucket Conveyor

 In the existing Z type bucket conveyor, the bucket will often be stuck in the corner of elevator, there are three main reasons for this: First, the screen of the vibrator is broken, which results to a great deal of material get into the bucket, and knock the load-carrying bucket; Second, the bucket has been in inclined or broken; Third, the bucket did not return to its normal position after the material is threw. The above 3 accidents will cause the bucket stuck in the elevator, it will not only damage the bucket ( even completely ruined), but also break the chain. What’s more, it is not easy to inspect, and it will take an amount of time to maintenance, which will affect the output. Thus, it requires new technology to solve out these problems.

We design a new anti-stuck bucket system for Z type bucket conveyor, it consists of the elevator track, motor, vibrator, buckets, driving chain, multi-approach switches, and touch screen. On the top side of the track is provided with an inlet, and the outlet is mounted on the other side of the track; Then the vibrator lies above the inlet to batch feeding on the bucket, where the buckets installed on the chain, driven by the elevator motor. For the approach switch, it will be used in conjunction with the Z type bucket conveyor, in which installed to different locations. The switch I installs on the right side of the inlet, the switch II is installed at the upper end of the left lower corner, the switch III is installed at the right side of the left lower corner, the switch IV is installed at the left side of the outlet, the switch V is installed at the right side of the upper right corner, the switch VI is installed at the left side of the lower right corner. There are many indicator lights on the touch screen to show the trouble spot. The approach switch will detect the stuck bucket, then sending the signal, the motor will stop running based on this signal, at the same time, the operator can find the trouble spot through the touch screen, to have a maintenance for the stuck bucket. Note: “the lower left corner”, “the upper left corner”, “the upper right corner”, “the lower right corner” refers to the operation direction relative to the conveying material.
The approach switch will be installed at the inlet and outlet of the Z type bucket conveyor and the corner of the track. When the bucket is out of order, the nearest approach switch will detect it, sending the signal to the motor and touch screen, then the device stops running and the trouble spot will be shown on the screen, which has greatly prevented the stuck condition. On the one hand, it will find the stuck bucket with fault alarm in time; On the other hand, it helps the operator locate the stuck bucket fast and convenient through the touch screen.
