The Buffer Device for the Z Type Bucket conveyor

 As the key component of the Z type bucket conveyor - Feeding device, it is usually divided into flow-type and digging type to direct the material to the bucket. Virtually there exists a technical difficulty to the two feeding types, this is, no matter use flow-type or digging type, the conveying material will impact the bucket, which gives rise to the deformation, damage or even worse. To solve out the above technical question, we design a suitable buffer device for the Z type bucket elevator. It consists of the feeding chute with the distribution plate on the top end, and set a buffer belt on the bottom end. When the conveying material gets into the feeding chute, it will be first buffered by the distribution plate, later slides into the side panel buffer belt to carry on the second cushion to enter the bucket.

In order to better understand the buffer mechanism of the Z type bucket conveyor, this is our design philosophy: the buffer system is divided into distribution plate, feeding chute, side panel belt and rubber sheet. The distribution plate is an inverted V-shaped structure, which welding to the top end of the feeding chute. As the conveying material passes through the feeding chute, it will be separated two flows by the distribution plate as the first cushion to reduce some certain impact. Then, as the second cushion of Z type bucket elevator, the two flows will slide into the side panel belt, thanks to the flexibility and frictional resistance, the potential energy will become gentle. To prevent the bucket shift, due to the material impact to the inner bucket, the rubber sheet will take as a barrier to avoid material splash when the material is about to get into the bucket. One end of the side buffer belt will be hinged with the feeding chute side wall, also the bottom end will connect to it through the conical spring, and there will be an arch structure in the buffer belt. When the material slides by, its impact force to the buffer belt is reduced by the conical spring, the discharging effect, especially for the sticky material, will be also guaranteed by repeating vibration. What’s more, along with the spring, discharging port between the distribution plate and the side buffer panel will be adjusted to make material drop as a suitable speed.
For the buffer device of Z type bucket conveyor, the feeding chute is arranged above the bucket, side panel belt and there will be a distribution plate installing inside of the chute, it will carry on two cushion effect to reduce the impact force of the dropping material. In addition, by setting the rubber sheet, the material will not splash around when hit the bucket, and prevent the bucket from shifting.
