The screening material of vibratory separator
The material urea screened by vibratory separator is solid particulate. The mainly failures of vibratory separator are classified material leakage and mechanical failures. The process failure is mainly due to the significant decrease in screening efficiency in the rainy season.
Material Leakage
Entrance soft connection broken and material leakage
Vibratory separator consists of 2 feeding and 2 discharging ports. These feeding and discharging ports are respectively connected the tee-junction, dummy car, the stainless steel articulated chute and the belt conveyor’s guide groove with the canvas material soft connections. In the process of sieving bulking fertilizer, the material leakage phenomenon caused by the damage of soft connection occurs frequently.
Reason analysis: The inlet and outlet soft connections are directly impacted by granular urea during operating. At the same time, during the reciprocating rotation of vibratory separator, the rubbing force on the soft connection is the main cause of the material leakage.
Solutions: Adding the inner lining wear-resistant and impact resistant material to prevent material from directly impacting the soft connection. Through material selection, comparison and experiment, it is finally determined to install a 2mm thick thin belt in the inlet and outlet soft connection. Welding stainless steel bolts on the outer wall of the inlet and outlet, fixing the thin belt on the bolts, adding fasteners after soft connection to prevent shedding. The original soft connection is still used outside the inner lining to prevent dust overflow and effectively solve the failure of the damaged soft connection at the port.
Broken screen mesh leads to material leakage
The vibratory separator is divided into two layers, each layer is composed of 3 screen frames, each screen frame is composed of 18 mesh stainless steel wire mesh. Screen mesh be riveted on the screen frame, each screen frame is divided into 20 grids, each grid has 3 cleaning balls. Cleaning ball impacts screen mesh to cleaning the screen mesh automatically during the operation. It is found that there are two kinds of phenomena: the broken screen at the feed mouth and the screen edge falling off the screen frame. In the process of operation, the screen is often broken and leaking. In the process of operation, material leakage occurs frequently. After inspection, it was found that the material leakage of the vibratory separator was caused by the broken screen at the feed mouth and the screen edge falling off the screen frame.
Reason analysis: Urea falls from the height to impact the screen directly, while the automatic bouncing clean ball in the screen frame keeps hitting the screen mesh. The screen was damaged after a long period of operation. When clean the vibratory separator regularly, the screen frame need to disassemble, clean, dried, assemble. The screen frame is gradually loosened, and the rivet that fixed the screen is released from the screen frame, causing the edge of the screen to pry open the leaking material.
Solution: adding a guide plate to reduce the impact force at the inlet. Adopting stainless steel tapping screw instead of rivets to tighten the screen on the screen frame, that will solve the problem of rivets easy to come out from the screen frame.
Mechanical failure
Adjustable belt slips or breaks
The driving force of the vibratory separator is the rotary motor, connected by the inlet loose belt. The bulk fertilizer has a large amount of feed, and the fault of active belt fracture occurs many times in operation.
Reason analysis: through the analysis of the broken belt, it is believed that the main cause of the rupture is the failure of belt selection and load, which results in the reduction of overheated burning strength of the active belt.
Solution: the advantage of the adjustable belt drive is that when the fault occurs, just remove the belt wheel protection cover, take off the knot at the worn or broken place and replace the corresponding knot on it. High maintenance efficiency. Try to replace imported adjustable belt with domestic triangle belt. The slip and fracture of the belt are solved effectively.
