Common faults and solutions for Belt bucket elevator 
(1)、 hopper belt skid:
1. the hopper belt tension is not enough, the hopper belt slips, adjusts the tensioning device, if the tensioning device can not make the hopper belt completely tensioning, the tensioning device travel is too short, should be readjusted.
2.bucket elevator the overload of the machine, the resistance moment increases, resulting in the hopper belt skidding. At this time, the material feeding should be reduced, and the feeding should be uniform. If the feeding quantity is reduced, the skid can not be improved.
3. the inner surface of the head wheel and hopper belt is too smooth, the friction between the two is reduced, resulting in the hopper belt slipping. A layer of glue can be applied to the inner surface of the head wheel and hopper belt to increase friction.
4. head wheel and bottom wheel bearing rotation is not good, resistance moment increases, cause hopper belt slip, can remove wash refueling or replace bearing.
5. the feed is uneven, more and less, strictly control the feed quantity, start without load, gradually open the feed gate, observe the rising state of the material surface from the glass window hole of the machine seat, when the material surface reaches the horizontal axis of the bottom wheel, The feed gate can no longer be increased.
(2) Leaching of hopper:
1. the tension of the hopper belt is not enough, the hopper belt is loose, and the tensioning device is adjusted. If the tensioning device can not make the hopper belt completely tensioning, the stroke of the tensioning device is too short and should be readjusted.
2. the vertical deviation of the whole machine is too large, the head wheel and the tail wheel are not parallel, the parallelism and perpendicularity of the head wheel and the tail wheel are readjusted.
3. the hopper belt joint is incorrect, the edge of the hopper belt is not in the same straight line. When working, the hopper belt is tight and loose, so that the hopper belt moves to the tight side and produces deviation.
4. feed bias and adjust feed position.
5. head wheel, tail wheel wear seriously, repair or replace head wheel and tail wheel.
6. hopper belt aging, replace belt.
(3) Tear of hopper belt:
1. general hopper belt deviation and hopper shedding process is the most likely to cause hopper belt tear. Should be timely and comprehensive to find out the cause, troubleshooting.
2. material is mixed with foreign body with sharp edge, it will also crack the hopper belt. Therefore, in production, wire mesh or iron absorption stone should be installed at the feed port to prevent large foreign body from falling into the machine seat.
(4) The hopper returns more material:
The speed of 1. hopper is too fast, the hoist lifts different materials, and the speed of hopper is different: when lifting dry powder and granular material, the speed is about 1~2 m/s; When lifting bulk material, the speed is 0.4~0.6 when lifting wet powder and granular material, the speed is 0.6~0.8 m/s. The speed is too large, discharge ahead of time, resulting in return. At this time, according to the lifting material, properly reduce the speed of the hopper, to avoid material return.
2.Belt bucket elevator machine guide plate at the outlet, hopper and guide plate clearance should be 10~20 mm, not too large, not too small, clearance large, more material; clearance small, hopper and guide plate collision, can not run.
3. open the head cover of the hoist, carefully observe the movement track of the hoist after the material is thrown out. If the material is thrown high and far, it has crossed the inlet of the discharge pipe, which indicates that the geometric size of the head shell is too small. The solution is to properly enlarge the head housing size.
4. if it is found that some materials are thrown very high and fall down and can not reach the discharge pipe, the time of hopper throwing is too early, and the solution is to reduce the speed of tape movement. The simplest way to reduce belt speed is to reduce the pulley on the motor.
If 5. find that some materials fall very close, can not enter the discharge pipe, or even into the non-load branch barrel, which shows that the end of the hopper discharge is too late, the solution is to modify the shape of the hopper, increase the bottom angle of the hopper or reduce the depth of the hopper
6. if it is found that some materials are thrown into the bottom of the front hopper and hit back into the barrel to form the return material, this indicates that the hopper spacing is too small and the distance can be increased appropriately.
7. if it is found that the rear end of the hopper is raised in the rear half circle of the head wheel, the moving track after the material is thrown out is changed to form a reflux, which indicates that the height of the hopper is too large and the height of the hopper can be reduced appropriately.
(5) Drop of hopper:
1. feed too much, resulting in material accumulation in the machine seat, hopper operation is not smooth, this time should immediately stop, pull out under the base
Insert the plate to drain the accumulation in the seat.
2. the feed port position is too low, the feed port position should be adjusted above the center line of the bottom wheel to prevent the hopper from falling off.
3. hopper is not good in quality and limited in strength. The hopper is the bearing part of the hoist and has high requirements for its material. The general hopper is welded or punched with ordinary steel plate or galvanized sheet, and its edge is folded or drawn into lead wire to enhance the strength of the hopper.
4. the machine does not clear the accumulation in the seat, in the production, often encounter sudden power failure or other reasons and stop phenomenon, if the machine is turned on again, it is easy to cause the hopper to suffer too much impact and break off.
(6) Blockage:
1. the feed is uneven, more and less, strictly control the feed quantity, start without load, gradually open the feed gate, observe the rising state of the material from the glass window hole of the machine seat, when the material surface reaches the horizontal axis of the sprocket, The feed gate can no longer be increased.
2. the return material is too large, the lifting material can not enter the discharge pipe and return to the seat, so that the increase of material in the seat causes blockage. The solution is to reduce the return.
3. the power failure or other faults suddenly stop, the quality of the lifting branch and the back branch is different, which makes the hoist reverse, the material in the hopper is poured into the seat, and then the seat is blocked when driving. The solution to this problem is to install a counter stop on one side of the main shaft of the lifting head wheel to prevent the hoist from reversing.
4. tape slip, reduce the lifting capacity of hoist, make the material in the seat increase to form blockage. The solution is to increase tension and prevent tape from slipping.
5. large foreign body into the seat caused blockage, so hoist feed should be installed wire mesh to prevent accidents.

(7) Lifting section:
1. tape tension is not enough, hopper due to its own weight and twist, forming withdrawal.
2. tape running deviation, hopper and barrel contact to form a material.
3. has its own vibration phenomenon, such as the inertia vibration of the rotating wheel, uneven tape joint, etc., whether there is a machine around the machine that produces strong vibration, such as vibrating screen, blower, internal combustion engine, etc., vibration will reduce the accumulation height of the material and make it full of hopper to form a sprinkling material.
(8) Dust explosion:
1. solution is to increase the outlet hole, that is, to open the outlet hole above the discharge pipe of the lifting head, which leads directly to the atmosphere, reduces the dust concentration in the head, and makes it unable to produce powder explosion.
(9) Production does not meet design requirements:
1. the material to the hopper and slider, according to the degree of bonding, regularly remove the material. 2. the discharge pass is too small or the angle is not suitable, correct the discharge slip.
3. the capacity of the front mechanical equipment of the bucket hoist is insufficient, the material input is small, so that the hoist can not reach the design ability, so it is necessary to improve the production capacity of the front mechanical equipment.
4. hoist rear mechanical equipment capacity is small, discharge slip blocked, improve the rear mechanical equipment production capacity. 5. lifting speed is slow, need to change the speed ratio of transmission wheel. 6. material failed to fill the hopper to the maximum.
7. lifting section material removal, resulting in hoist output can not meet the design requirements.
8. hopper return, that is, the material thrown by the hopper can not enter the discharge pipe but part of the return to the machine seat, reflux is the reason why the output of most hoists is not high. The method of checking the backflow is to stick the ear to the machine barrel of the hoist, and whether there is a sound like falling rain in the receiver. According to the size and dense state of the sound, the degree of reflux is judged. This method is especially effective for the iron shell hoist.
9. material metering method is improper, or metering error, check metering device, check material proportion, revise calculation method again.
(11) Belt bucket elevator housing leak:
1. the gasket damage or leakage pad at the full length flange of the housing, replace the new pad, apply sealant, and tighten the flange bolt again.
2. material is released from the gap of the head and seat, adding gasket or sealant.
3. the height difference of the input material is too large, the feeding pressure is increased, and the material input method should be changed to increase the buffer device of the feed.
(11) Motor base vibration:
1. the motor itself rotates badly, unload the rotor to check the static balance.
2. the reducer and motor installation accuracy is poor, over the specification requirements, re-adjust.
3. the motor base installation accuracy is not enough, the flatness exceeds the specification request, carries on the readjustment.
4. head wheel and tail wheel installation error, need to be readjusted.
5. the tightness of the head wheel and the tail wheel is not appropriate, it should be adjusted again.
(12) abnormal sound during operation:
1. the bottom plate and hopper of the bucket hoist, adjust the fastening device of the seat to make the tape tensioning.
2. drive shaft, driven shaft key loose, belt wheel displacement, hopper and housing collision, adjust the belt wheel position, key tight.
3. guide plate and hopper collide, repair guide plate position.
4. guide plate and hopper between the material, amplifier seat material input angle.
5. bearing failure, can not operate flexibly, should replace the bearing.
6. material or other foreign bodies stuck in the seat, stop to remove foreign bodies.
7. transmission wheel strip to produce idling, adjust tape length.
8. the housing installation is not correct, adjust the vertical degree of the full length of the housing.
