Development and application of heavy apron feeders

1.The existing problems of the equipment.
1.1The lubrication of the chain of the apron feeders is difficult and the chain plate and the traction chain are easy to wear. Besides the maintenance frequency and the equipment noise is high.

2.Design proposal. 3.The main structure and characteristics of the new heavy-duty apron feeders. The new heavy-duty apron feeders is mainly composed of driving device, spindle device, crawler chain, chain plate device, tail wheel device and tension device. The structure and characteristics of the new heavy plate feeder are mainly shown in the following aspects.
3.1The traction chain adopts the track chain of the supporting manufacturer, since it has small pitch error, high strength and not easy to deform. Besides it dont’t need to be lubricated in the service period. Daily maintenance and operation are convenient and fast. The bottom of the chain plate is all made of manganese steel, with a single arc lap structure, which is always in the state of lap in the process of working. It has impact resistance, wear resistance, no leakage between the chain plate, safe and reliable. Both sides of each chain plate are positioned by guide plate, which is firmly connected with the track chain by eight bolts to ensure accurate bite between the chain plates. The chain plate is welded with reinforced steel plate under the bottom plate, and the chain plate is supported by four rows of rollers when it is in operation. which can ensure that it can withstand the impact of large materials without deformation. The dust and noise on the machine site are greatly improved, and the operating environment of the workers is obviously improved.
3.2The head main bearing and the bearing in the tension slide seat are double-row roller bearing with a tension fixed sleeve. It has an accurate positioning, convenient installation and maintenance, greatly save the equipment maintenance time. Besides it saves a lot of manpower and guarantees the stability and continuity of alumina production.
3.3The new heavy-duty apron feeders runs smoothly and safely, with no leakage between the chain plates, the operation noise is significantly reduced, and the field environment is significantly improved.
3.4The whole frame of the new heavy-duty apron feeders adopts the welded i-beam structure, and there are several plates welded between the upper and lower flange plates, good rigidity and high strength. The parts where the tension slider is installed are machined with high dimensional accuracy to ensure the flexible operation of the tension slider.
