How to achieve the stable transmission of apron feeders

1.The ore of the mining face falls into the heavy-duty apron feeders through the chute and is transferred to the special conveying equipment of the mine. Therefore, the heavy-apron feeders is the key link of the mining and mineral separation system and is the throat equipment in mine production. The heavy-duty apron feeders is installed at the bottom of the chute which is usually three hundred to six hundred deep and full of ore, so the equipment not only bear the great pressure of ore in the chute, but also resist the serious wear and tear caused by ore in the chute. The working environment is very bad. Therefore the equipment must have very reliability, less maintenance and easy to maintain, to replace vulnerable parts and other characteristics.

2.Prior heavy-duty apron feeders has a closed chain wound around the drive shaft and tensioning shaft, the material falls into and is stacked on the tensioned chain. In the working process, the sprocket on the drive shaft rotates the chain belt wound on the drive shaft in one direction, driving the chain belt to rotate to complete the conveying and transshipment of materials. The unchained rolling is set below the chain plate carrying the material to support the weight of material and chain belt. Due to the limitations of the structure and size, the spacing of the detaching rod is greater than that of the chain belt, and the chain belt is horizontal at the fulcrum of the drag chain conveyor. The chain belt in the middle of the two chain rolls will sag for a certain distance due to the the heavy weight of the material and the limited tension of the chain belt, making the distribution of the chain belt in the bearing section is wavy, which will produce impact load in the transmission process, leading to the premature damage of the chain belt and roller. The disadvantages of the existing technology heavy duty apron feeders are as follows: firstly, the transmission is not stable, easy to produce shock and vibration. Secondly, easy to wear, the workload of maintenance and repair as well as the labour intensity is high. Thirdly, the chain belt is easy to run off and sometimes it also runs into the support and foundation of the equipment, so the chain belt is badly worn.
3.This paper relates to a heavy-duty apron feeders which can realize stable transmission. It includes a drive shaft with a sprocket mounted in a fixed position in the axial direction, a closed chain belt connected by spin shafts of a number of chain components wound around the drive shaft and a tensioning shaft and the unchained roll of the support chain. Its characteristics is that the two sides of each chain link component of the chain belt are arranged with a drive chain and the middle is fixed with with a working load bearing plate. The drive chain link is connected with the load bearing plate by belts and the closed chain belt is engaged with the sprocket of the drive shaft by the drive chain link. The two segments of the tensioning shaft are filled with a guide wheel engaged with the chain belt at the corresponding position to the sprocket. The off-chain roller is arranged salon the device longitudinally with five rows, and the two rows on the outside are the drive chain and idler withe the file edge which are arranged below the drive chain joint. The middle three rows of smooth bearing chain idlers are arranged below the supporting bearing plate. Compared with prior arts, the invention has the following advantages: firstly, this equipment is novel in device design and improves the stability of the device rotation. Secondly, the chain belt is simple in structure, reliable in operation, convenient in maintenance and geed in conductivity. It can eliminate the shock and vibration caused by the chain belt operation on the equipment, effectively control the running deviation and leakage, and reduce the wear between parts. Thirdly, the structure is advanced and reasonable, which greatly reduces the maintenance workload of workers and maintenance cost. Last the production efficiency of the apron feeders is improved and the service life is prolonged.
