How to improve the belt supporting device of corrugated sidewall belt conveyor

The return trip of the original corrugated sidewall belt conveyor adopt parallel lower idler belt of common fixed belt conveyor. In the using process, the idler is easy to inlay with the skirt edge of the belt, and the diaphragm will be damaged if the inlay is serious. After one year operation, the belt of the conveyor is often damaged quite seriously, which must be replaced and very harmful to the economy of user. In view of the above situation, we improved the back haul idler and replaced the parallel idler with a newly designed belt support device. The newly belt support device consists of two small idlers, nylon elastic ring belt and support. The base frame of the belt supporting device plays the role of fixing two small rollers, the circular nylon belt is set on the two small rollers, and the support is provided with the tension device, thus forming the belt supporting device. The device is respectively installed under the two skirts of the sidewall belt to support the belt for the return journey. Because the skirt edge does not directly contact the small idler, but with the nylon belt, the contact area is large, which overcome the skirt edge insetting into the idler phenomenon.

The belt supporting device is a device without power, and the nylon belt is operated passively by friction, which runs with the motion of the corrugated sidewall belt, and can always keep in contact with the skirt edge. At the same time, the track roller used with the belt supporting device is composed of a large guide wheel, a small guide wheel, a fixed shaft and a bearing seat. The large guide wheel and the small guide wheel can be rotated separately around the axis, which can overcome the slip of the skirt edge caused by the uneven stretching of the belt on the left and right sides of the tail. Both ends of the fixed shaft of the track roller are fixed by the bearing seat.When the belt is running, the track roller rotates to reduce the friction damage of the belt and improve the service life of the skirt edge, which also extends the service life of the belt and the corrugated sidewall belt conveyor.
The existing common track roller with a group of shaft bearing system causes different linear speeds on different surfaces to turn the rolling friction into sliding friction, increases the friction system of the base band of the corrugated sidewall belt and the skirt edge and the degree of wear. In addition, the base band gap by material adhesion for a long time will lead to a certain degree of sagging under the action of gravity. This structure of the track roller only played a simple supporting effect, which ignore the difference in linear velocity between the base band empty edge part of the corrugated sidewall belt and the skirt edge part when running around the track roller, change the rolling friction to sliding friction, and the base band gap by material adhesion for a long time will lead to a certain degree of sagging under the action of gravity, which affect the service life of the whole belt seriously.
Two sets of shaft bearing systems and a set of fanned round supporting plate are added, which makes the base band empty edge and skirt edge always move in a uniform circular motion around the track roller, the empty part of the base band is supported by the fanned round support plate of the track roller in the running state. Thus in the operation process, the track roller is not only have the effect of supporting belt, but also can effectively protect the running of corrugated sidewall belt conveyor, greatly extend the service life of the whole conveyor belt and reduce the running cost of the enterprise and save the manufacturing energy of corrugated sidewall belt.
