Preparatory work before operating
Before the apron feeder start up, a complete check for machinary should be processed. Checking the lurication part. The sprocket shaft, reduser, motor bearing and other parts are have enough luricating oil, and the quantity of lubricating oil meet the standard requirement. The bearing of the head and tail of the machine and the bearing of supporting sprocket and supporting weight wheel must be oiled once per shift. Checking the bolts in all parts of the machine must not be loose and fastened reliably. Checking the tightness and consistency of the chain on both sides of the apron feeder. Checking whether the parts of the mechanism are in good condition, such as damage, welding, cracking and other timely maintenance treatment. Whether the iron plate small shaft and support roller move. Each pin and link are loose phenomenon. Safety device such as gear cover, two side protection plate, guardrail is firm. Whether the electric control instrument, electric control switch and wiring of each part are in good condition. Whether the motor speed adjusting handle is flexible and in the lowest speed position.

Checking the operation of the chain plate, and keeping the chain loose properly. If deviation is found, adjust it by tensioning device. Checking whether the supporting weight wheel and supporting sprocket wheel rotate flexibly. If there is any abnormal sound or fault in the process of operation, stop the machine to check and deal with it. During the operation of the apron feeder, materials of a certain thickness should always be kept on the chain plate, generally not less than 500mm. Never allow to empty ore warehouse ore, directly to the chain plate unloading. The daily mantenance of heavy duty apron feeder
Apron feeder should always maintain a certain thickness of material on the chain plate in use, generally should not be less than 500 mm, it is not allowed to unload the material directly to the chain plate. When it is impossible to avoid emptying, a layer of broken material should be laid on the chain plate before unloading to prevent direct impact on the chain plate. When large blocks of material are blocked, blasting is not allowed to be used to arrange the place. The operator should be familiar with the structural principle of the machine. Before each shift, the operator should check whether each part is normal and whether the connecting bolt of the chain plate is loose. Pay attention to check the working condition of the chain plate, especially whether the connecting bolt is loose or not, keep the chain tight properly, if the deviation is found, adjust it through the tension device. Abnormal sound and fault in the process of operation should immediately stop the operation, carefully check the cause of occurrence, discharge the fault. In addition to pay attention to daily maintenance, but also regular inspection and maintenance, and timely replacement of worn parts.
