The structure form of chain
Chain is easy wear, the service life of apron feeder mainly determined the life of chain. The troditional chain of apron feeder is general bushroll chain, it made of chain, pin roll, canisker, and pulley. The service life of canisker and seelve is just 6 monthes during the normal operation, the chain shall be replaced when running a month. The role of the chain roller is to make the chain turn and the chain wheel meshing to produce rolling to reduce the resistance force.The practical observation shows that the rolling capability of barrel and sprocket is very small. Chain of hot material feeder, eliminating the drum, the chain wheel directly engage with the sleeve and on the cylinder pin shaft cut to two small fan body, after the sleeve and the pin shaft assembly, a fixed clearance between mating surface, and on both sides of the pin shaft form two thin little space, the minimum hardness of the pin shaft and sleeve 3 ~ 4 times higher than the content material grits, can effectively reduce the chain of wear and tear.When the feeder runs, part of the dust generated by the material enters into the gap between the pin shaft and the sleeve, and forms a grinding effect between the powder and dust, without affecting the contact surface between the pin shaft and the sleeve.The practice shows that the new type of chain is good in operation and its service life is several times longer than the common one.
The structure of apron feeder’s roller
The material of commonely apron feeder is cast stell, the hardness is HRC45~48, and it just has one bearing. The roller body of material feeder is made of wear-resistant cast steel and is subjected to normalizing and tempering heat treatment with the hardness of HB200. Two single row radial ball bearings are installed in the wheel body, with an interval spring between them and multi-layer seal. The wheel body has strong carrying capacity, small volume. When the roller deviation due to the impac or installation, it can buffer shock absorption and adjust automatically.
Tension Device
For the tensioning device, the mandrel of the tail wheel is fixed on the tensioning platform. The bottom surface of the tensioning platform is symmetrically equipped with 4 wheels, which are located on the tensioning platform. The tail wheel is tensioned by the left and right screw screws and spring through the platform. The extendable track group is composed of a live track, a fixed track and a compensation track. The active track is mounted on a tensioning platform below the active track, which is in tangential contact with the tail wheel. When the conveyor chain traction roller leaves the fixed track, it is supported by the compensation track and then smoothly transfers to the active track, eliminating the instability phenomenon when the chain roller of the general apron feeder enters the tail wheel.
Generally speaking, common apron feeder are used heavy hammer or manual adjustment screw tension. Although heavy hammer tensioning can play the role of pre-tensioning, but because of the multilateral effect of chain drive caused ripple impact, so that the chain wear faster. Screw tensioning is often not effective due to the artificial adjustment of tension. Hot material apron feeder adopts spring and lead screw combined tensioning device, which has been proved to be effective in practice.
