The structural characteristics of apron feeder for hot materials

The agglomeration system of metallurgical plant usually ues the hot-break processing. The agglomerate of a certain degree are sent to the blast furnace for smelting under the thermal condition of 50~100℃. In brief, apron feeder usually be chose as the transport equipment. This apron feeder for hot materials has light weight, low consumption, steady operation and long service life, mainly used in metallurgy industry. This paper takes hot material apron feeder with width B=80mm length L=72 in the sintering plant as an example, mainly introduces the technical parameter and structure features of apron feeder.

Head device of apron feeder
The frame of head device has high rigidity, operation steady, small vibration, good dust proof effect and other features. Besides, the dust proof heat insulating cover can effitively protect the bearing and extend its service life. In order to prevent the material from falling to the tank, welding baffle is addied at the bootom of the tank to form an empty space fot accumulated material. The falling material first falls on the accumulated material, and then it is transferred to the lower part of the storage surface to form an abrasive state. The number of the chain pitch is not a multiple of the number of teeth, so that the pitch teeth and pitch teeth are intermeshed with the sleeve of the chain, and the tooth surface of the two adjacent pitches is evenly worn.After wear and tear, the gear can be installed reversely to extend the service life.
Frame and seal cover
The frame of apron feeder is a segmented bracket welded by angle steel. The frame is integrated with the track group, the branches are connected with inclined braces, the length of single branches frame is 23m. The general layout form is the horizontal section receiving the material, and the material is discharged after a certain height of inclined lifting, then, the material enters the crushing equipment, blast furnace or other sites. In order to prevent the slip of pan caused by the break of the traction chain, the head guard rail is installed on the upper side of the track of the rack, the idler can be effectively restricted between the track and the guard rail, and the pan shall not be piled on the top part of the tail pulley.
The shape and connection form
According to the conveying capacity of apron feeder, the width of pan can be determined. The shaft of supporting tube is connect with supporting sleeve of chain. The back end of the material plate is supported on the roller tube shaft, and the front end is supported on the back of the other material plate and overlapped with each other as a whole, which is carried by the traction chain. There is a middle clapboard welded inside the material plate, which can not only prevent the material from slipping down, but also increase the rigidity of the loading plate. Through this design to ensure the material not leakage during discharging. The material is taken off from the material plate in parabola, which will not wear the pan, thus improving the service life of pan.
