 I、Install belt bucket elevator
(1)preparation before installation
The following preparations must be made before the equipment is formally installed
1.1 Read this manual and the general drawing of the bucket elevator installation carefully,get familiar with the installation technical requirements,and check whether the basic size meets the requirements according to the basic drawing.
1.2 Check the parts quantity and quality against the general installation drawing and packing list
1.3 Familiar with the structure and hoisting mode of the whole machine and its components, installation requirements,commission methods,technical indicators,precautions.prepare necessary installation tools(lifting appliance,measuring device,spanner,etc)
(2)Installation order
Belt bucket elevator is divided into several parts out of the factory,therefore according to the specific site conditions,refer to the following installation order to pre-transport the parts to the appropriate location,according to the general installation drawing ,install in the following order:
2.1 Check the embedded bolt in the foundation according to the drawing
2.2 Fix the tail section on the foundation and calibrate the datum plane(upper flange face)
2.3 Put the gate casing on the tail section.1-2mm sealing material shall be placed between the casing flanges
2.4 Put the middle casing on the gate casing and install the outdoor (internal) support after the middle casing is calibrated, and fix it reliably on the nearby building. The installation of the support shall not limit the free extend-retract of the bucket elevator in the vertical direction
2.5 if there is a non-standard casing,the section should be installed in the position of the middle housing of the first or second under the head section
2.6 Install maintenance platform,connecting the support rod is used for reinforcing.install the rail.
2.7 Install the head section.after the head section is installed,calibrate the spindle center line so that it is horizontal and parallel to the center line of the lower axis.
2.8 After the installation and correction of the main case is completed, it is necessary to use the surrounding buildings to reinforce the maintenance platform according to local conditions, so as to reduce vibration and make the operation more stable
2.9 Install the conveyor belt , buckets and other traction parts.first,install the bucket on the conveyor belt,introduce the traction parts into the machine from the inspecting middle casing,lift it from the feeding side,and connect the conveyor belt with the belt lacing until the assembly is completed.
2.10 Install the driving device,install the driving device in place,set up electrical wiring and safety protection device.inching motor,check running direction and confirm no error.
II、The basic requirements should be met for bucket elevator installation
1.The foundation of bucket elevator must be stable enough, the supporting surface of the tail section should be in a horizontal position.the relative position of each component should be correct.
2.The flange face of middle casing of each section must be orderly without obvious dislocation.Between the connections of the middle casing,1-2mm asbestos paneling,waterproof canvas,felt or asbestos rubber sheet is allowed to guarantee the levelness of the seal and flange face.
3.The center line of all cases shall be on the same plumb surface,after the casing is assembled,plumb lines(H<40M)or theodolite measurements with a cumulative deviation not exceeding the value specified in following table .

For H>40m,Optical instruments should be used for measurement.
4.The parallelism of the main shaft of the belt bucket elevator driving pulley to the horizontal plane is 1/1000.
5.After driving device is installed,press the main shaft and the reducer low speed shaft sleeve with the pressing plate.The coaxiality of the center line of the motor,fluid coupling and reducer on the driving device shall be within 1mm,the direction of the backstop should be opposite to the rotation of the driving pulley.
6.Before using the belt lacing to connect the conveyor belt,the tail pulley should be moved to the top end of the tensioning stroke,after installation,the conveyor belt is tensioned in normal operation by means of tensioning device.Tighten the fixed bolts.the parallelism of the wheel set shaft to the horizontal plane is 1/1000.
7.The conveyor belt joint splint, the high strength bolt of the backing plate must be tightened.The conveyor belt joint must be perpendicular to the conveyor belt,the deviation between the joint edge of the conveyor belt and the vertical line of the conveyor belt should not be greater than 0.2% of the belt width,the misplace of both ends of conveyor belt joint <2mm
8.After installation and adjust of the traction parts is completed,the remaining trip of the tensioning pulley should be greater than 50% of the full trip.

III、Installation requirements for wire rope core traction parts
(1)Installation of buckets
The hole on the conveyor belt for installing bucket has been pushed out before the product is shipped.
The bucket can be installed in two ways,one is to install it externally,after being installed,it is hoisted into the casing together with the conveyor belt.The other is to install conveyor belt first,and then install the bucket on the belt after the belt lacing is installed.this depends on the size of the construction site.
(2)Conveyor belt lacing
It is crucial for the safe and reliable operation of bucket elevator to connect the conveyor belt of the steel wire rope core with the belt lacing,it must be connected according to requirements(manufacturer’s guidance)
IV、Test run of bucket elevator
Before the belt bucket elevator is put into operation,it must carry out no-load test and load test.
(1)Preparation before no-load test run
1.1 Check whether the connecting bolts in the foundation and each part are fastened,whether other connecting points are firm,etc.
1.2 Check whether sufficient amount of lubricating oil is added to lubricating parts such as bearing housing,reducer,etc.
1.3 The working liquid in the fluid coupling, usually N32 hydraulic oil,the amount of liquid added is shown in the manual of fluid coupling.
1.4 Check whether the traction parts are running barrier free,the running part shall not collide with other fixed parts or get stuck.
1.5 Check whether the electrical signals,electrical control protection,insulation,etc meet the requirements of electrical instructions.
(2)No-load test run
After the installation ans inspection of all parts of the bucket elevator,the no-load test shall be carried out first.the inspection door should be opened during the test run,carefully observed the operation of all parts of the equipment,adjust when problems are found.Operation time shall not be less than 3 hours.
2.1 Pay attention to the operation of traction parts(conveyor belt and buckets).
2.2 Check whether the temperature rise of each bearings is normal,the temperature rise of 3 hours operation is not more than 40℃,and whether the lubrication sealing performance is good.
2.3 Check whether motor and reducer are normal,whether there is abnormal noise and leakage phenomenon.
2.4 Check whether the tightening device is normal,whether the conveyor belt is running deviation. The belt running deviation can be controlled by adjusting the tensioning force and the length of the left and right screw rod.
2.5 Check whether there is abnormal noise and overheating phenomenon during the operation of the backstop device,and whether the backstop device is sensitive and reliable.
2.6 Check whether all fasteners are loose, after the stop, pay special attention to the bucket and conveyor belt, and the fastening of fixing bolts on conveyor belt lacing.
2.7 When the no-load test is over, make sure that the equipment is completely normal for the load test
(3)Loaded test run
After the equipment passes the no-load test run and makes the necessary adjustment, the load test run is carried out, in order to test whether the relevant technical parameters meet the design requirements
3.1 The loading quantity should be increased gradually from small to large
3.2 Electrical control reliable, motor and reducer should run smoothly, motor should not overload
3.3 In the case of uniform feeding, the bucket elevator should meet the design requirements of the handle capacity, discharging should be normal, there should be no obvious feed back and blockage phenomenon.
3.4 Check again whether the tensioning device is normal and whether the conveyor belt is running deviation.
3.5 The backstop shall be reliable and there shall be no obvious reverse operation when stopped.
3.6 Check whether the whole machine runs smoothly and the noise does not exceed 85dB.
3.7 Eliminate load test run defects,confirm satisfactory before transfer to production.
V、Use and maintenance of bucket elevator
In order to ensure the normal operation of the bucket elevator, for the normal use and maintenance of the bucket elevator, it is necessary to formulate safe operation procedures to prevent equipment and personal accidents caused by improper operation.Safe operation procedures shall be formulated by the user according to the actual situation on the site.
(1)Normal use of equipment
1.1 The machine should have fixed operators in operation.At the same time, a strict succession system must be established.
1.2 The operating conditions of the machine, such as: conveying material characteristics, working conditions, handle capacity, etc., should meet the design requirements and strictly comply with the provisions in this note

(2)Operation cautions
2.1 The machine shall be started under the condition of no load, stop feeding before stopping, and stop running after discharging the material.
2.2 During operation, the operator should always check the working condition of each part.
Special attention should be paid to: feeding should be uniform, the lower part of the bucket elevator can not occur plugging material,the plugging material must be removed;
The working condition of the traction parts, timely adjust the tension force to make it work in the normal range;
Discharge condition;The working condition of the transmission;
The working condition of each bearing, such as temperature rise, noise, working condition of electric control equipment.
2.3 The operator should make a record when they find any problems in the operation of the bucket elevator,records should be kept for elimination during maintenance.when the abnormal operation of the equipment,which will affect the safe operation of the equipment,it shall stop running immediately to eliminate the malfunction.it is strictly prohibited to clean or repair the operating parts during operation.
2.4 The slow - moving device must operate under no - load condition
2.5 The machine should keep all lubrication points lubricated normally during operation
2.6 Reducer maintenance according to the use of reducer requirements
2.7 Access to the emergency stop switch should be free of obstacles, each corridor should have lighting facilities, inspection doors that are always open should have low-voltage lighting facilities, all inspection doors must be closed.
