The Deficiencies Of Mineral Sizers At Home And Abroad At Present

 For a long time, people have been crushing materials by extrusion, i.e., by applying pressure to the material to deform it. When the energy absorbed by this deformation is sufficient to overcome the bonding force between the atoms of the material, the displacement between the atoms is produced, thus achieving the purpose of crushing the material. On this basis, crushing equipment such as jaw crushers, rotary crushers, impact crushers and hammer crushers have been developed. These traditional crushing equipment use extrusion to achieve material crushing, the machine is bulky, low efficiency, high energy consumption, these shortcomings limit the crushing capacity of the crusher to improve. With the continuous research on material properties and the continuous improvement of testing means, people have a deeper understanding of material properties and performance. By using modern testing technology to analyze the mechanics of mineral sizers, it is found that the ability of mineral materials to withstand pressure damage is much greater than their ability to withstand shear damage, and the test shows that the ratio of compressive strength to tensile and shear strength of most rock minerals is roughly 10:1. in the Henan Excellent Machinery Co.,Ltd. in China, the crushing capacity has been greatly improved, but the following deficiencies exist in the practical application of the products:

(1) Similar products at home and abroad use meshed teeth to mineral sizers the ore;
(2) According to the site investigation, due to the lack of effective classifying mechanism, the phenomenon of "congestion" will occur when the large pieces of raw coal are mixed with small pieces of raw coal in a large continuous flow. When the humidity of coal is relatively large, a large amount of wet coal will be stuck between the meshed teeth, which will also produce the phenomenon of "congestion";
(3) Foreign products use the method of increasing the power and strength of transmission parts to achieve the increase of crushing capacity, which has high power consumption and high cost;
(4) The mineral sizers structure of similar domestic products is similar to that of foreign products, with the same problems, and the crushing capacity is lower due to the insufficient strength of transmission parts and the lack of optimization of the structure and design parameters of key components. At present, there is no crusher suitable for underground coal mines with crushing capacity over 2500t/h in China.
