A sidewall belt conveyor primarily consists of corrugated sidewall belts, drive units, drive pulleys, bend pulleys, pressure rollers, idlers, centring rollers, belt cleaners, take-up devices, various support frames, feed chutes, discharge chutes, electrical control systems and safety protection assemblies.
Primary Applications of Sidewall Belt Conveyors
Sidewall belt conveyors are general-purpose continuous conveying equipment for bulk materials, equipped with conveyor belts featuring corrugated sidewalls and transverse cleats, making them particularly suitable for high-angle inclined conveying.
This type of conveyor is widely applied in industries including coal, chemical engineering, building materials, metallurgy, electric power, light industry, grain processing, ports and shipping. It can transport various bulk materials with a bulk density ranging from 0.5 t/m³ to 2.5 t/m³ under ambient working temperatures between -15°C and +40°C.

Specialised conveyor belts shall be adopted for materials with special conveying requirements, such as high-temperature materials, or materials containing acid, alkali, grease, organic solvents and other corrosive components.
